These rules keep CatBud relaxed, fair, and welcoming. Examples describe common violations but do not limit staff judgment.
Translations are provided for reference. The Traditional Chinese version governs if meanings differ.

Play casually—never cheat
Unauthorized clients, KillAura, X-ray, Fly, scripts, blueprint printers, bots, removed mining cooldowns, unfair mod features, and malicious bug abuse are prohibited.
Auto-click, hold, and fishing may be allowed in normal play, but never inside instance worlds.

No laundering or multi-account abuse
Do not use game mechanics or multiple accounts to launder currency, bypass limits, or gain an unfair benefit.
CatBud does not endorse real-money trading or top-up services. Advertising or trading currency, accounts, or top-ups is prohibited.

Keep adult content away from minors
Do not post sexual, obscene, or 18+ text or images in public areas, channels, signs, item names, or other visible spaces.

Leave other people’s property alone
No theft, griefing, unauthorized building changes, redstone interference, or use of clearly private facilities.
Damage or unauthorized building at public warps is treated more severely.

Do not deliberately harm or provoke others
No malicious attacks outside PVP areas, trapping, portal blocking, taunting, or targeted harassment.
Trades must be voluntary and honest. Threats, fraud, counterfeits, and refusal to fulfil an agreed trade are punishable.

Keep the community respectful and clean
No spam, public fights, insults, hateful or aggressive speech, self-harm, sexual or violent content, defamation, political agitation, religious hostility, baiting, or malicious rumors.
Do not advertise forms, Discord groups, or other servers without approval, and never expose or reuse another person’s private information or images without consent.

Constructive feedback is welcome; malicious smears are not
Publicly insulting CatBud or staff, spreading knowingly false claims, or organizing malicious attacks against the community is prohibited.
Good-faith feedback and suggestions remain welcome.
Penalty levels
Penalties primarily protect affected players and restore fair order. Staff may adjust the level based on severity, harm, intent, and history.

Theft, griefing, or fraud
Disrupting another player’s experience
Sharing another person’s information or images without consent
Serious R-level behavior

18+ content or severe community harm

Refusal to cooperate with a reasonable investigation or settlement
Escalation, settlement, and compensation
Escalation
Repeat offenses, multiple violations, or bad-faith conduct may increase a penalty. Game and Discord sanctions may run together.
Settlement
A settlement before a final ruling ends the case. A settlement after a ruling does not automatically stop the penalty already imposed.
Compensation
A reporting player may request compensation within 15 days after a penalty becomes final. Refusing reasonable coordination may lead to a UR penalty.
Appeals
If the facts or penalty level appear wrong, the reported player may appeal and request a new staff vote.
